ENGAGEMENT
Our engagement story is very special to us and a show that it’s not only the powerful bond between us, but also a testament to the adoration our families have for our partner.
02
SAVE THE DATE
Although the holiday season may have ended, we’ve got a great winter event you won’t want to miss. Our Wedding will be on January 25th, 2025 at Mountain Springs Lodge Resort, in Leavenworth, Washington.

Lodging
Yes, this is OUR WEDDING but it’s also about you, our loved ones. We can’t thank you enough for choosing to be part of our special day. We will try to update the site with any changes you might need to know about, as well as post photos from the ceremony and reception here.
We are hosting the wedding party, but there are plenty of other local affordable accommodations if you decide to take several days to celebrate with us. There are available beds in the lodges as well. Bring the whole family and enjoy the magic of Leavenworth during the winter! Let us know if you need any recommendations and we’ll try our best to help.
Dan and Jenny's love story
We know... we know... neither of us are the most conventionally romantic, but you don't really get to choose who you fall madly in love with, and here we are...

The Wedding Party
We both picked an amazing amalgamation of friends and family to be in our official wedding party. There were suddenly plenty of honorable mentions and after an absurd amount of consideration, we narrowed it down to 5 amazing humans each.
Jenny knew right away that she wanted her sisters, and Dan’s sister (soon to be her sister too!) to be involved as well as needing to have her best friend and younger sister, Georgie, be her Maid of Honor.
Dan certainly wasted no time asking his closest friends to be a part of his special day, and thankfully they all wasted no time in saying YES! That being said, he had a much harder time choosing JUST ONE, but Jenny said he had to… so he devised a genius plan.
In order to decide, Dan is putting together a friendly little competition with various events, putting their physical and mental strengths and dedication to the test. The winner will have the honor of calling themself the Best Man at the wedding, as well as receive a trophy and certificate for boasting purposes. The other men get nothing but their experiences as Dan doesn’t believe in participation trophies.
The Queen's ladies and King's men
Behind every great couple are the badass friends and family members that support our crazy antics and encourage us to be unapologetically weird and genuine. We love you guys so much and wouldn't want to do this without you. Click on the tab to learn a little about each member of the wedding party
Jenny’s little sister and closest friend. She has been there through Jenny’s highs and lows, and she has always been Jenny’s inspiration to explore her creative side. She supported Jenny during one of the most difficult times of Jenny’s life and always found a way to get Jenny to remember to have fun. She’s Jenny’s ride or die and they’ve had so many crazy adventures together.
Jenny’s eldest sister, the one that lead the shenanigans the sisters and their cousins would get into and the games they would play. Jenny has always looked up to her and loved to follow her big sister around growing up. She has always been there to help Jenny when she needs it. She’s a wonderful mother to Jenny’s two favorite nieces and always brings the family together for the special moments in life. She and her family gave Jenny a place to call home when she needed it.
Jenny’s older sister, the other middle child. She is the devoted mother of Jenny’s two favorite nephews. She’s always shared Jenny’s random and sometimes dark sense of humor, often cracking jokes together that shocked and appalled their mother. All jokes aside, she has always been someone Jenny could turn to for support and she has always had Jenny’s back. She always saved a seat at the lunch table for Jenny at their new schools and let Jenny tag along with her
and her friends.
Jenny’s niece that is growing up way too quickly. She is Lena’s daughter and was the first child of Jenny’s siblings . She’s a teenager and makes Jenny feel old, but Jenny is so happy to be her aunt anyways. Jenny loves being able to watch her grow into her own beautiful person that is hilarious, smart, and kind and is a great big sister. Jenny remembers fondly the time she got to spend with her when her family had Jenny as an extended stay houseguest.
Dan’s younger sister, and Jenny’s soon-to-be sister-in-law. She has been there when Jenny and Dan needed a helping hand while still maintaining her busy life as a mother and provider for her family. She’s a genuine and down to earth person with an awesome sense of humor and is fun to be around. Jenny looks forward to calling her sister.
Tom and Sharon have been the most loving and supportive parents Jenny could ever ask for. Sharon became a stay-at-home mother to care for their four daughters while Tom worked long and hard to provide for his family. Despite how busy life and responsibilities kept them, they found time to make the girls’ childhoods fun, filled with adventures, and sometimes magical. They have always supported Jenny through all of her endeavors and goals, and have
been there every time Jenny has needed help. Jenny loves playing card games, watching movies, and having dinner with her parents when she can. They are Jenny’s favorite boomers and Jenny cherishes every moment she gets with them during their busy lives. They are extremely pleased to have Dan as their future son-in-law because they find him fucking hilarious and he is a very supportive partner to Jenny.
Jenny’s sweet and sassy niece. She is Lena’s other daughter and is a riot to be around. She always has jokes and unlimited energy, and she looks so adorable in dresses. She’ll be the one grossed out and covering her eyes when Dan and Jenny kiss after they say “I do”.
Patrick and Dan worked together at a small cannabis technology start up. Patrick later became the CEO, and Dan the CIO. After both exited the company that had been acquired several times, they formed a consulting company together and have worked together in some capacity ever since. They are 2/3 members of their internal powerhouse they refer to as “The Holy Triumvirate.” They’ve travelled to many countries together, and Patrick even paid to have Dan and Jenny over at his awesome mobile photo-safari in Botswana, just prior to the pandemic. He has always believed in Dan even when Dan didn’t. A true badass ride or die.
Levi is Dan’s oldest and best friend. They met in the 5th grade when Dan (DJ back then) moved to his town. Even after Dan moved away a couple of years later to the neighboring rival town, they still hung out all the time and went to an absurd amount of concerts. He has been Dan’s ride or Die since October of 1999. While he is generally incredibly shy, he’s very pithy and I wouldn’t recommend being on the other end of his razor sharp sarcasm. Levi is the kind of friend you could call at 4 am and even if he’s still awake from the night before will help you or just talk to you without question.
T.J. is the other 3rd of The Holy Triumvirate. Code named “Manaconda” .. you can go ahead and let your imagination run on that one. His personality is most notably akin to Dan’s, and is a literal MENSA level genius. TJ is one of the most generous souls on the planet. He would give you the shirt off his back, and if you were still cold, he’d weave you a thick blanket from his bountiful chest hair. There were tough times that The Holy Triumvirate endured, and even after they all split up they are still there whenever it counts. If you ever meet anyone who cares as much as he does, hold onto them for life.
Kalob is a beautiful soul. He is genuine love wrapped in bacon, washed down with a nice cold Twisted Tea. Dan and Kalob met years ago in the local music scene. Kalob is a wonderful musician and is in damn good company as one of the most selfless folks Dan knows. Even when he was gravely injured, he never stopped being an amazing person and friend.
Arno is a friend, and a brother when Dan needed one most, even though he didn’t realize it at the time. Arno’s blind and endless faith in everything Dan does and wants to do … there probably isn’t a word in English for it, but fortunately Arno speaks fluent German and has a pretty extensive vocabulary. If you need him, he says yes before even asking you what it is. It doesn’t matter. He’s down to do his part no matter what it is. He always helps everyone at every corner, and never stops long enough for a thank you. He is an incredible father and a world class friend. Plus, who else on this groomsman list is almost as big of a degenerate as Dan and can help rally the troops during the bachelor party. (Besides Jenny… but she’s got her own party to live.)
